I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I strive to create a space where you feel safe exploring difficult emotions while also feeling supported to make meaningful changes. Together, we'll work to understand not just your symptoms, but the experiences that shaped them, helping you build resilience, strengthen self-trust, and reconnect with your values. I integrate EMDR, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and parts-informed approaches to tailor treatment to your unique needs. My goal isn't simply to help you feel better in the moment—it's to help you develop the confidence, skills, and insight to navigate life's challenges long after therapy ends.

Who I Work With

I specialize in helping adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, trauma (including complex trauma and PTSD), depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, low self-esteem, life transitions, codependency, boundary issues, phobias, gender affirmation, and identity exploration. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I incorporate EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to help clients create lasting change rather than temporary relief.

In Session

A session with me is a space where you can exhale and show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment. You'll find a balance of compassion, curiosity, and honest conversation as we work together to understand what's keeping you stuck. I won't just sit and nod; I'll actively guide you through evidence-based strategies, help you make sense of your experiences, and gently challenge the patterns that no longer serve you. Whether we're processing trauma through EMDR, learning to quiet OCD through ERP, building emotional regulation skills, or strengthening your sense of self, each session is tailored to your unique needs. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools that help you create meaningful, lasting change.

What Guides My Work

My practice is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, self-understanding, and empowerment. I believe that people are not defined by their diagnoses or past experiences, but by their capacity for growth and resilience. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I strive to understand, "What happened to you, and how has it shaped the way you experience the world?" Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to understand the root causes of distress, develop practical skills for managing life's challenges, and create lasting change. I value authenticity, compassion, and evidence-based care, meeting each client where they are while gently encouraging them to move toward a life that aligns with their values instead of fear.

Personal Lens

I believe that every person deserves a safe, affirming space where they can be their authentic self without fear of judgment. I am committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client's unique background, identity, values, and lived experiences. I strive to understand how culture, family, relationships, and life experiences shape emotional well-being, and I tailor treatment to meet each client's individual needs. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and work to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, heard, and empowered.
