My clinical approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and grounded in humanistic and psychodynamic frameworks. I work from an attachment lens, with particular attention to the rupture and repair process as a vehicle for building both interpersonal and intrapersonal capacity. My work centers on identifying and addressing root causes rather than surface-level symptom management.
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma, EMDR, and the treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, and relational difficulties in adults. I work with both men and women.
I am an EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist currently pursuing EMDR certification, with specialized training in ego state interventions and parts-work integration, an approach I have studied across several dedicated trainings. I also incorporate somatic and mindfulness-based techniques to support nervous system regulation and emotional processing.
I have deepened my understanding of trauma neurobiology through ongoing professional development, including attendance at the 35th and 36th Annual Trauma Research Foundation Conventions and other specialized trainings, where I engaged with current research on the neurobiological mechanisms of trauma and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Committed to a holistic view of mental health, I actively integrate mind-body connection into my clinical work, encouraging clients to explore movement, mindfulness, and supportive practices between sessions, recognizing that the work of healing extends well beyond the therapy hour.
