My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply attentive. I believe meaningful therapy happens when you feel genuinely seen. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I'm interested in understanding the whole picture—your relationships, your history, your strengths, your values, and the ways you've learned to navigate life. We move at a pace that feels supportive while staying connected to what matters most. My hope is that therapy becomes one of the few places where you don't have to perform or have all the answers. Just a place where you can arrive exactly as you are and finally turn inward.
Maybe you've become so good at holding everything together that you hardly notice how much you're carrying anymore. I work with high-functioning adults who appear capable on the outside but internally feel anxious, burned out, disconnected, or overwhelmed. People who are dependable, responsible, and have spent years putting everyone else's needs before their own. If you struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, overthinking, self-doubt, relationship patterns, or the quiet pressure to always have it together, we'll become curious about how those patterns developed—and what becomes possible when they no longer have to shape your life. Together, we'll help you move from simply getting through life toward feeling more connected, more self-trusting, and more at home within yourself.
No two sessions look exactly the same. Some days we'll talk through what's happening in your life right now. Other times we'll slow down and notice what's happening beneath the surface—in your emotions, your body, or the patterns that keep showing up. I integrate conversation with mind-body awareness, helping you move beyond simply understanding yourself intellectually and toward experiencing yourself differently. Over time, many clients notice they feel more grounded, more connected to themselves, and more confident responding to life's challenges rather than simply reacting to them.
I believe people make sense within the context of their History. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I'm interested in understanding how your experiences shaped the ways you've learned to protect yourself, connect with others, and move through the world. My work is informed by Somatic Experiencing, the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), psychodynamic therapy, and relational therapy. More than any one modality, though, I value curiosity, compassion, collaboration, and the belief that lasting change happens when insight is paired with new experiences of safety, connection, and choice.
As someone who comes from a mixed cultural background, I understand that our identities, families, cultures, and lived experiences shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. I approach every client with cultural humility and genuine curiosity rather than assumptions. I strive to create a space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and respected, and where conversations about culture, race, family expectations, relationships, or systemic experiences have a place whenever they're meaningful to your story.
