I believe that healing happens through genuine connection. My style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate while also being intentional and goal-oriented. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable without fear of judgment. I balance validation with gentle encouragement, helping clients better understand themselves while building practical skills they can apply outside of therapy. I meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating life's challenges. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, school-related stress, ADHD, or behavioral concerns. I also enjoy partnering with parents by providing guidance and practical tools to strengthen connection and support their child's emotional well-being. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, empowered, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
No two sessions look exactly the same because every client is different. Together we'll explore what's bringing you into therapy, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable. Depending on your needs, sessions may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, emotional regulation skills, attachment-focused work, play-based interventions with children, parent coaching, or practical coping strategies. My goal is for each session to leave you feeling heard while also walking away with something tangible to apply in your daily life.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, genuine human connection, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based approaches, strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, and developmentally appropriate interventions for children and adolescents. I value authenticity, empathy, cultural humility, and creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust. As a bilingual therapist, I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client's unique background and experiences. My practice is also rooted in values of grace, compassion, and hope, and I am happy to thoughtfully integrate a client's faith into therapy when it is meaningful to them, while always respecting each individual's beliefs and preferences.
As a bilingual (English and Spanish) therapist raised in a Cuban-American family, I understand the important role culture, family dynamics, and personal values play in shaping our experiences. My work is informed by both my professional training and my appreciation for the strengths and challenges that can exist within diverse families and communities. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and am committed to providing an inclusive, respectful space where each person feels seen, valued, and accepted.
