My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and collaborative relationship that supports personal growth and healing. Whether you are navigating postpartum challenges, daily stress, relationship struggles, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, or recovery from substance use, I walk alongside you to create meaningful change. As a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) provider, I bring specialized training to support individuals through the unique challenges of substance use recovery and perinatal mental health. My style is fluid, person-centered, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify values and build flexibility, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Radical Acceptance, and Exposure Therapy. I also recognize that mental health and substance use impact loved ones, so I provide education, boundary-setting tools, and encouragement for self-care. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to partner with you as you navigate obstacles, honor your strengths, and build a life that reflects your values.

Therapy involves many techniques and provides clients with the tools to self-manage throughout the therapeutic relationship and maintain after the relationship is terminated. Clients develop insight about their behaviors, thought processes, and coping mechanisms as well as problem-solving skills and alternatives to dysfunctional behaviors and thoughts.
I have worked across a range of mental health and substance use treatment settings, supporting individuals through complex and often high-acuity challenges. Earlier in my career, I served as a Substance Abuse Specialist on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, providing community-based care for individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. I have also worked as an inpatient therapist within a behavioral health hospital system, offering individual, group, and family support to those experiencing mental health crises. I later transitioned into private practice, where I continue to provide mental health and substance use treatment. My background also includes work within integrated care settings, including providing counseling as part of a comprehensive medical team for individuals living with HIV, as well as completing substance use assessments and individual and group counseling in community-based programs.
I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to partner with you as you navigate obstacles, honor your strengths, and build a life that reflects your values.
