My counseling style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I create a safe space for clients to feel heard while also gently challenging them to recognize patterns, gain new perspectives, and move toward growth. I believe healing requires both compassion and accountability. My approach is trauma-informed, authentic, and focused on helping clients create meaningful change rather than simply managing symptoms.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals and couples who are ready to understand their story, heal from past experiences, and create healthier patterns. Many of my clients appear strong on the outside but struggle with childhood wounds, trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, boundaries, or feeling stuck in survival mode. I enjoy working with cycle-breakers who want deeper healing, not just symptom management. Using a trauma-informed approach, including EMDR, CBT, and person-centered counseling, I help clients process the past, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

In Session

A typical session is a collaborative conversation focused on understanding your experiences, identifying patterns, and working toward meaningful change. We will explore how your past may be impacting your present while building practical tools to help you move forward. Depending on your needs, I may use EMDR therapy, CBT techniques, person-centered counseling, mindfulness and grounding skills, emotional awareness, boundary work, and trauma-informed practices. Sessions are designed to help you process experiences, gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

What Guides My Work

My practice is shaped by the belief that our past experiences influence us, but they do not have to define our future. I value authenticity, compassion, accountability, and creating a space where clients feel seen and understood while being encouraged toward growth. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and shaped by training in EMDR therapy, complex trauma treatment, CBT, and person-centered counseling. I also offer faith integration for clients who desire to include their Christian beliefs as part of their healing process. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival patterns, understand their story, and create lasting change.

Personal Lens

My personal and professional experiences have shaped my belief that people are more than what they have been through. I understand the importance of family, culture, faith, and life experiences in shaping how we see ourselves and navigate relationships. My lens is informed by a deep respect for each person’s story and the courage it takes to break unhealthy patterns. I am passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward healing, growth, and a healthier legacy.
