My style is warm, compassionate, down-to-earth, and non-judgemental. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine human connection rather than a clinical experience. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be themselves, explore difficult emotions, and speak openly without fear of criticism or shame. While I offer guidance and practical tools, I also believe each person holds their own inner wisdom and capacity for growth. My approach balances gentle curiosity with practical support, helping clients gain insight while creating meaningful changes in their daily lives.

Who I Work With

I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, low self-worth, stress, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions. I often support people who find themselves prioritising everyone else's needs while neglecting their own, helping them build healthier boundaries, develop self-compassion, and reconnect with what they need. Whether you're experiencing a difficult period in your life or simply want to understand yourself on a deeper level, I provide a supportive space where meaningful change can take place.

In Session

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your individual needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what feels most helpful, sessions may involve exploring current challenges, identifying patterns that keep you stuck, developing coping strategies, building emotional awareness, strengthening self-compassion, or working through difficult experiences from the past. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), alongside traditional counselling skills and psychoeducation where appropriate. Sessions often combine reflection, practical tools, and deeper self-exploration to support lasting change. Clients often describe sessions as feeling supportive, grounding, and empowering.

What Guides My Work

My work is guided by the belief that healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful change. My approach is influenced by person-centred principles, trauma-informed practice, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and evidence-based therapeutic approaches that support emotional wellbeing and personal growth. I am also inspired by the work of Irvin Yalom, particularly his emphasis on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship, authenticity, and meeting clients as fellow human beings rather than as problems to be fixed. I hold an Associate Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and have completed Level 1 and Level 2 EFT Practitioner Training, as well as Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy Training. Alongside formal training, I am committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice to ensure I continue providing thoughtful, ethical, and client-centred support. At the heart of my work is a deep respect for each person's unique experiences, values, strengths, and capacity for growth. My role is not to tell clients who they should be, but to support them in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection with themselves and others.

Personal Lens

Alongside my professional training, my own life experiences have shaped the therapist I am today. Having moved countries several times and experienced periods of stress, anxiety, and burnout, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate change, uncertainty, and the pressure many of us place on ourselves. I now live on a small island in Thailand, where I have intentionally embraced a slower and more balanced way of life. This shift has strengthened my belief that wellbeing is not about having everything figured out, but about learning to listen to ourselves, honour our needs, and create space for what is truly important. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and the importance of living in alignment with our values. They continue to inform the warm, grounded, and non-judgemental approach I bring to my work with clients.
