SHE/HER
I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine, collaborative, and human. My approach is warm, relational, and non-judgmental. I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply looking for a place to process what you're carrying. While I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and attachment-based perspectives, I don't believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Together, we'll explore your experiences, relationships, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels meaningful and tailored to your needs.
I work with adults who feel overwhelmed by the pressure of holding everything together for everyone else. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, family conflict, or major life transitions. They often find themselves overthinking, people-pleasing, carrying responsibilities that aren't theirs, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Some are navigating difficult family dynamics, setting boundaries for the first time, healing from past experiences, or trying to better understand themselves and their relationships.
Therapy with me is often a balance of reflection, exploration, and practical support. Some sessions may focus on processing current stressors, relationships, or life transitions, while others may explore deeper patterns that have developed over time. We'll work together to identify what's contributing to your struggles, build insight, and develop tools that can help outside of our sessions.
At the heart of my work is the belief that our experiences, relationships, and environments shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. I view many struggles through an attachment and relational lens, recognizing that patterns developed in early relationships often continue to influence our emotions, behaviours, and connections today. My work is also grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe, authentic relationships. I value curiosity over judgment, collaboration over expertise, and helping clients build a deeper understanding of themselves rather than simply focusing on symptom reduction.
