My counseling approach is strengths-based and grounded in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I draw from my professional training in evidence-based counseling practices to help clients identify their strengths, build on what is already working, and take meaningful steps toward healing and growth. I also recognize that emotional and spiritual well-being are often deeply connected. For clients who desire a Christian approach, counseling may include prayer, Scripture, and an intentional invitation for the Holy Spirit to guide the healing process. Faith integration is always based on your preferences and incorporated with your consent. I am trained in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-informed therapy, play-based interventions, Animal-Assisted Counseling (AAC), and Animal-Assisted Play Therapy (AAPT). I am also a certified animal-assisted counseling team with my canine partner, Arlo.
I work with adults, children, and teens throughout Texas who are seeking meaningful change, emotional healing, and practical support for life’s challenges. I offer telehealth counseling across Texas and in-person sessions in Conroe. When appropriate, my in-person work may incorporate animal-assisted counseling, play-based interventions, and animal-assisted play therapy with my canine counseling partner, Arlo.
Sessions with me are warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you move toward meaningful change. You can expect a supportive space where your concerns are taken seriously, your strengths are recognized, and we work together to identify practical next steps. You will not be pressured to share more than you are ready to discuss. Depending on your needs, sessions may include solution-focused conversations, goal setting, coping strategies, reflection, and tools for managing difficult emotions or life stressors. For clients who desire a Christian approach, prayer, Scripture, and faith-based reflection may also be incorporated with your consent. Sessions with children and teens are tailored to their developmental needs and may include creative activities, play-based interventions, and opportunities to build emotional awareness, confidence, and problem-solving skills. During in-person sessions, animal-assisted counseling and animal-assisted play therapy with my canine partner, Arlo, may also be incorporated when clinically appropriate.

My lens is shaped by a Christian worldview and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I believe counseling should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and encouraged as you navigate life’s challenges. I approach counseling with compassion, curiosity, and hope, recognizing that emotional and spiritual well-being are often closely connected. I believe meaningful change is possible and that you do not have to walk through difficult seasons alone.
